Walking Tour of Sanssouci, October 15, 2PM to 5PM
You'll see the spectacular grounds and buildings of Sanssouci Park, filled with history and beauty. And you'll learn about Potsdam's history and current challenges. Guided by Saskia Hüneke, Chair of the Main Committee of the Potsdam City Council, and Bart Urban, Deputy Chair of INTBAU-Germany, and Co-Host of The Aesthetic City.

You'll see the beautiful reconstructions of Potsdam's war-ravaged core, and popular replacements for unpopular East German buildings. You'll learn about the fascinating history and current challenges of the city. Guided by Saskia Hüneke, Chair of the Main Committee of the Potsdam City Council, and Bart Urban, Deputy Chair of INTBAU-Germany, and Co-Host of The Aesthetic City.

Discussion and Awards Dinner, October 17, 6PM
The Awards and Discussion Dinners are a tradition for the IMCL, going back to the early days. They are a chance to discuss the topics of the conference in a relaxed and convivial setting, and to honor some of our peers whose work is worthy of celebration. This year we will be in the beautiful Zur Historischen Mühle (The Historic Mill) Restaurant, at the edge of the stunning Sanssouci Park. Tickets cover the meals (with a selection of meat, fish or vegetarian) as well as wine and juices.
